One for All and All for One

The definition of One for All, All for One means All the Members of a Group support each of the individual Members, and the individual Members pledge to support the Group.

Some or perhaps many may think that is a good motto for the Co-operative Housing Sector!

Some or perhaps many may think that motto can also be defined as Monkey...See, Monkey...Do...

How many people think that there is plenty of "monkey business" going on in co-op housing?

How many people equate monkey business to the inherent problems with co-op housing?

How many people believe the Human Race evolved from the Ape ("the Monkey")?

What other forms of life that some may also resemble earthlings may believe in that motto that may exist on a far away planet or perhaps in the future or times of some future past?

Lets use our thoughts and imagination as we compare and find some similarities with alien life forms, and with humans that reside in co-op housing that may also be referred to as "the Body" or "the Hive" or "the Collective"...as we travel through space, and time in search of those who may follow that motto known in English as One for All, All for One or known in the Latin language as "Unus pro omibus, omnes pro uno"...that may or may not exist Cooperatively...

Your mission, should you accept it, no doubt will be entertaining and thought provoking...

 

Stardate 3156.2 on planet Beta lll located in the C-111 Star System, an entire culture ruled over by a cloaked and cowled "Lawgivers" controlled by a reclusive dictator known as Landru where its inhabitants exhibits strange behavior, with little or no individual expression or creativity because of the "will of Landru" and those who are "Not of the Body" are hunted down or captured, and then "Absorbed into the Body" and placed under Landru's mental control. Far away in Deep Space in a area known as "Delta Quadrant", exist a cyber-metric life-form thousands of years old which is part organic, part artificial life named "the Borg"

The Borg are a vast collection of "drones" linked in a hive mind called "the Collective" or "the Hive". The Borg co-opt the technology and knowledge of other alien species to the Collective through the process of "assimilation" forcibly transforming individual beings into drones by injecting microscopic machines or nano-probes, into their bodies and surgically augmenting them with cybernetic components.

Some Analysis

Collectives or Cultures that are imperfect, flawed or with inherent problems require change from the status-quo, so the Culture or Collective or Co-operative can transform itself in order to be healthy, grow, and prosper...Example from the Latin language, "nos autem populus" or defined in the English language, as "WE THE PEOPLE" of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Wefare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America or supreme law...

Some Conclusions

Members' and Occupants of housing co-operatives that have inherent problems with flawed, poor or bad governance and management should NOT endorse, subscribe too or follow the pledge of "One for All, and All for One" motto.

In Ken's view, that pledge or motto when followed at housing co-ops with poor or bad governance and management will NOT transform the housing co-op into a healthy, growing, and prosperous co-op! Those who are endorsing, and following that pledge or motto at those problem co-ops are ill advised or misguided, and will never find remedies or a cure for their SIC housing co-op!!

You people would be better advised to adopt a pledge 'We The People Constitution'!!!
