In Ken's view, Stakeholders that include CHF Canada support less accountability for co-op's and board of directors and staff at it's member housing co-op's.

Ken has been harassed and threatened with eviction for being outspoken by co-op Project directors, officers and their lawyers.

Ken was banned for life on Jan. 16, 2006 from CHF Canada's 'co-op talk' on their website for being outspoken and sharing some of his True Life co-op housing Horror Stories. Ken is not welcome to join-in on any discussion about co-op housing issues on any social media sites administered through CHF Canada
Its part of Ken's DNA and built into Ken's name to be outspoken!...And thats what makes Ken a stand-up guy confronting nonsense in the co-op housing sector.

RE: CMHC REF. 09-104-084

Dear Board of Directors:

The purpose of this letter is to summarize the findings of the Management Books and Records Review of Athol Green Co-Operative, performed by CMHC on May 6 & 7, 1996. Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in reporting these results to you.

I would like to first extend my thanks to Pat Shannon and Sue Lang for their co-operation and assistance during the visit. I appreciate the time committed to help during my review.

The review was performed in accordance with CMHC policies and guidlines and included reviews of the books and records maintained by the organization at the site office.

Our findings and recommendations are set out for your consideration in the spirit of enhancing your internal control process. Internal controls are those controls put in place by the organization to ensure timely collection of member arrears, proper authorizations, and timely reporting to appropriate parties. Nothing in this letter is intended to reflect on the honesty or integrity of the staff and members.

The following is a summary of the findings and suggested recommendations:

Ken shares some views, opinions, and comments in regards to the CMHC Client Visit held at the Co-op on May 6 and 7, 1996 and CMHC Co-op Client Visit summary of findings dated July 10, 1996 and that CMHC offered an apology for the delay in reporting the results to the Co-op Board of Directors.

In Ken's view, CMHC attended the Co-op to conduct this Client Visit on May 6 & 7, 1996 from 9 am to 2 pm each day to review books and records of management equates to a 10 hour review.

In Ken's view.  the CMHC summarized findings of Co-op management provided very little information.

In Ken's opinion, the CMHC detailed findings of Co-op management were not published in this Report.

In my view, CMHC recommendations that consisted of 1-page contained nearly no information that was deliberately removed from Ken's view. No information from that page was posted in this blog.

In Ken's opinion, the CMHC delay in reporting the summary findings results to the Co-op board of directors may not be in relation to their findings or in fact may be because of their findings during the 2 day Client Visit.
