CCTV security camera's/line feed to members tv security channel issues

Last update in December 2016    After this introduction you can scroll down the page to review video, photographs, and other information at various points in time dating back to 2006...   In Ken's view, Athol Green Co-operative Homes Inc. has a long history with problems dealing with doors being propped open...that invites unwanted access to resident buildings, and underground parking. In Ken's view, it appears little has been done to hold individuals that either reside outside or within the co-op accountable for loitering, nuisance, drug related issues, vandalism, and theft...   In Ken's view, those who reside at the Co-op along with some other assorted corrupted individual's have a strong influence on how the Co-op is poorly governed and managed.   In Ken's view, the Co-op Board of Directors, and the Co-op General Manager offer excuses why correct information can't be displayed for the Co-op Residents for their review.   In Ken's view, the Co-op Board of Directors are deceitful, dishonest, and above all corrupt on specific issues or matters that involve Governance and Management at the Co-op!!   It is essential that accurate CCTV information such as time and date...be provided for those who may monitor the Co-op CCTV system and for investigations conducted by the police...that may use this information in a court of law...as evidence. Example CLICK HERE   In Ken's view, at a prior point-in-time, the CCTV System monitored in the Co-op Corporate Office, and the CCTV Cable TV Security Channel monitored by the Co-op Residents each displayed a different time in the display that did not indicate the correct time!     Co-op CCTV reconnected to television security channel 988. In Ken's view, on December 13, 2016 at some point in-time after 5:30 pm and at some point-in-time prior to 6:08 pm. The security channel display indicated incorrect time as 06:13:12 and the cable television display indicated the correct time as 6:08 pm...:: CLICK HERE And CLICK HERE   Co-op CCTV disconnected/removed from view on member(s) unit cable television security channel 988 at some point in-time prior to 12:40 pm on Sunday November 27, 2016 and at some point in-time after 12:11 am on Sunday November 27, 2016.:: CLICK HERE and CLICK HERE!     Co-op CCTV verification on April 28, 2016 at 1: 31 pm.     Co-op CCTV verification on April 28, 2016 at 6:31 am.     The two following video clips taken on April 1, 2015 of the CCTV Cable TV Channel 988 and Weather Channel substantiate claims that the incorrect date and time continues to be displayed on the CCTV Channel: CCTV...Channel at 8:00 am. and CCTV...Channel at 8:00 pm.      In Ken's view, as at March 26, 2015 at 8:13 am board of directors and/or general manager had made some changes to the Co-op CCTV Cable TV Security Channel time display and started using the 24-hour clock with the incorrect date & time displayed as 20:17 or (8:17 pm) at 8:13 am, and changed label 000Lobby to 200Lobby. Communications update on March 26, 2015 and Ken's letter dated March 10, 2015 requesting that co-op CCTV issues be resolved. Photo 5643, 5644, 5486 & IMG_5487   Athol Green Co-op CCTV Security Channel line feed to Members' Cable Television issues: In my view, it was brought to my attention on January 27, 2015 that the CCTV line feed was switched from channel 998 to 988. This channel change may have occurred sometime around September 15, 2013 or later. In Ken's view, he along with other members were not notified by the board of directors of the CCTV line feed changeover prior to Jan. 27, 2015. The following video indicate issues about incorrect CCTV time and some labels.   Examples: You can note in this video, the following: Security Channel time is 7: 14 am, Actual time is 10:59 am, CP24 time is 11:00am, the Weather Network Show actual time is 11:01am, and back to the CCTV Security channel wrong time is 7:17am.    In Ken's view, the Co-op Newsletter 2015 Winter Edition informed the General Membership about 'Cable Services'...'Note: Security channels are: 998, 988 or 994'...CLICK HERE to view Newsletter, pages 1 and 9    Ken filed a written complaint to the Police, and Co-op Board of Directors, against Janet Hood, director, and Brad Hood, her adult son in regards to an incident that allegedly took place at the Project on October 31, 2013. Ken requested a copy of digital images from the Co-op CCTV System for his review and a reply to his complaint.     As at April 1, 2015 the Co-op Board of Directors have not responded appropriately to Ken's complaint and have not provided a copy of the digital images for Ken's review. In Ken's view, it appears that Janet Hood and her son were not held accountable for this incident and are being protected by the Board of Directors.   CLICK HERE to view Ken's written complaint against the Hood's. In Ken Hummel's view, on November 2, 2014, the Board of Directors and Management continue to keep the  Co-op CCTV Security Camera's line feed disabled between Cameras and the Cable TV Security Channel, preventing Membership from monitoring four locations within the Co-op.

 

In Ken's view, the Membership has been denied access to view, for example: Two building lobby door entrance and intercom locations, another building access entrance off Athol Street and the vehicle entrance area down in the underground parking area since about September 15, 2013.

 

In Ken's view, the Board of Directors, Membership and Management that have not opposed the decision to remove from view, locations within the buildings have placed Co-op and Co-op residents at additional risk. 

Issue #1: Video update As At January 10, 2014

Issue #1: Ken Hummel ("Ken") first noted on September 15, 2013 that CCTV line feed was disabled preventing the membership from monitoring the security channel and four locations within the Project when the inter-connected fire alarm sounded for some time in the buildings.

In Ken's view, Project Board of Directors and Coordinator now don't want the General Membership to monitor the two building lobby area's and two other building locations. This action taken by the Board of Directors will prevent the Membership from seeing who is using the lobby intercom that buzz their units requesting entry into building.

Ken notified the Agency for Co-operative Housing about some CCTV issues back in April 2010.

This action taken by the Project Board of Directors prevents the Membership from identifying persons that may be responsible for vandalism or propping doors open that compromise the security of the co-op and its Member(s) Families at the Project.

On January 4, 2014, I reviewed some of the written complaints about incidents that allegedly took place at the co-op Project in 2005 and prior to that time. The lack of action on these issues by the Board of Directors and Management, it brings back a flood of memories for me. It reaffirms the lowest held regards I had for these people back then, and can still have today when one considers all the nonsense that continues.

Back in 2003, a complaint was filed against Adam Young...about a discharged Stink-Bomb in front of Ken's hallway unit door. Linda Thornton is Adam Young's step-mother, and co-op Project president.

Some  years back, I filed many complaints against Ian Pilgrim, now an adult, the older brother of Amber Pilgrim, now and adult and a former co-op director and corporate secretary. Carole Pilgrim is a former co-op director and corporate secretary and the mother of Ian and Amber Pilgrim. In Ken's view, Ian Pilgrim may still live at the co-op inside his mothers unit.

Ken will be publishing some photographs that may have never been seen before by the membership! It's been said that a photograph is worth a thousand words, well, Ken may have up-to a million or more words to share with you!

Can you count to a million? Let's start; one, two, buckle my shoe, three, four, Ken's no bore, five, six, how are trix...

Some years back, when Ken attended a co-op meeting of members, it is alleged that a member on the board of directors uttered a death threat to Ken. It is alleged that she called out across the room towards Ken, and I quote her: "I'm going to kill you"

Some years back, it's alleged at prior point-in-times, as Ken was shoveling snow just outside beyond the underground parking fire exit door, an adult member appeared and tried to intimidate Ken. The member had his arm extended down by his side while closing his fist then extending out his index finger while raising his thumb up.

At another point-in-time, he was driving his vehicle down the ramp leading to the underground parking area, and turned his two front wheels  towards me briefly and then turning the wheels back in the opposite direction while I was standing with my bicycle at the bottom of the ramp waiting to go up the ramp.

In Ken's view, for many years, the Project has issues with illegal drugs that relate to drug trafficking and dealing, and this can also be a factor as to why the line feed is disabled preventing the General Membership from viewing these locations!

In Ken's view, the following has been noted one or more times over some 20-years at the Project: Bats, Rats, Mice and Cats, Dogs and Squirrels, Skunks, Spiders, Bees, and an infestation of Ants, and a network of Drug Dealers trafficking narcotics...

IMHO, the Police likely have a lack of resources for various reasons... but are they motivated enough to weed out the long standing drug trafficking problems and its key Players at the Project? - Ken may accept to shoulder only a very small part of that blame at the co-op housing PROJECT!  In Ken's view, his efforts to rid the co-op of these problems have been undermined by many stakeholders for years...

Can you imagine the influence that a network of Drug Traffickers and Drug Dealers living inside and outside the co-op can have over the Project Management and what seems to appear over all other Members' on the 4 important issues that Ken has raised?... Oh well, Ken does...

At this point-in-time, the Project Board of Directors and Management have not sent out any notices to the General Membership informing them that the CCTV line feed is disabled preventing the Membership from viewing the security channel. and four common area locations within the Project.

Ken had requested that issue one and three other issues noted below be resolved at the co-op General Membership meeting held on October 29, 2013 without any success...

Issue #2: The Project Board of Directors and Coordinator have refused to set the time display to the correct time for the Membership to view on their television security channel.

Issue #3: The Project Board of Directors and Coordinator have refused to set the location display labels with all the correct locations that the security camera's view and the membership see on their television security channel.

Issue #4: The Membership cannot view on their television security channel, the camera view located in the 250 building hallway outside the common room facing near the Athol Street building side entrance,office side door, laundry room and cleaning supply closet.

Background information: The Membership had a quad-split view of 4-security camera locations inside the Co-op on their cable television security channel. The co-op Directors and Coordinator had received verbal and written requests from Ken to set the time display to the correct time and set the location display labels to all the correct locations that the security camera's view and the Membership can see on their television security channel. Why have issues 2 & 3 gone unresolved since 2006?

Excuses appear to be the reason why all 4 issues are not resolved.

The unofficial notices or excuses appear that the co-op office is recording the correct time and locations in relation to the security camera's and it's not a priority of the Board of Directors to resolve any of these issues.

Ken has not seen any official meeting minutes or letter/notice on co-op letterhead signed by or on behalf of the Board of Directors in respect to issue 3 or 4, but if you had then contact Ken.

Ken makes the claim that recording accurate time and location is required for video evidence to be reliable and admissible in a court of law.

Ken makes the claim that providing false or inaccurate time and location to the membership may confuse some Members' into believing that the information viewed is accurate or true.

Ken makes the claim that unofficial minutes, letters, and notices that contain excuses posted on co-op bulletin boards have not been substantiated in respect to time and location.

Ken has now shared his theories as to why Project Directors and Officers don't want the Membership to have access to the correct time and all locations seen on their television security channel at another point-in-time (Sept. 16, 2011). Some of Ken's theories are now shared with you at this point-in-time in 2013.

In respect to issue #4: Originally, but not since about August 2006, Ken alleges co-op Membership had a security camera line feed to Members' cable television security channel that had a strategic view of persons who entered the 250 building from the Athol Street side door entrance and continued down the hallway to either the co-op office side door, common room, laundry room, cleaning supplies storage closet, and partial view of hallway that continues towards a washroom, underground parking or up the stairwell to Members' unit hallways.

Ken claims that he has noted the Athol Street building side entrance door propped open with a garbage container or other objects on many occasions where anyone off the street could just go into the building unnoticed because Members' are not permitted to view this area on their security channel.

Ken noted reports from the co-op Project Board and Coordinator of break and enter into the corporate office, thefts and/or vandalism in laundry room, cleaning supplies closet, common room, underground parking area. The office is closed 4-days a week, and is open for a total of about 24-hours a week.

A General Membership meeting was held on July 26, 2005. Ken's motion did not have a seconder and his motion was defeated to have the Membership view the original location's for the security camera's line feed connected to Members' television security channel. Another Member (former Board member and co-op president) then made a motion that two front doors and two underground building doors (underground parking area) be included on the security camera/cable television feed line, and his motion was carried with Ken being opposed.

It appeared that an excuse was used to change the locations where members could view security camera's on their cable TV security channel.

Originally, it is alleged that members' had a view from 4- security camera's located inside the co-op; A camera view in each of the two building main entrances facing members' mailboxes, one camera view near the main entrance for automobiles entering underground parking garage, and one camera view near the 250 building Athol Street side entrance that leads to the the office, common room, laundry room, cleaning supplies closet, washroom, underground parking, and stairwell going upstairs to the Members' unit hallways.

Ken had urged the Membership to review these four issues at a meeting of members, and that the appropriate action be taken. In Ken's view, Project Membership and Management has failed Ken's integrity and credibility test on all four of these important issues at this point-in-time!
